Reading the signals
Brightness and hue both rise with frequency. Each count has one color and one brightness, so two subjects used equally often are identical — because they are. The scale climbs from gold through green, cyan and violet, and only the most-used subject reaches white. Type size and weight never vary, so no subject is made unreadable to make another loud.
